Itemize seeks a VP, Sales & Marketing to lead and scale its sales and marketing efforts. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP, Sales & Marketing will be responsible for managing and executing marketing strategies and driving revenue and growth.

You have a passion for marketing, branding, and sales for SaaS products, exemplified by a strong revenue track record. You enjoy working in early stage companies, building teams and momentum. You are a doer. You have a passion for generating brand awareness, with an extensive network of brand influencers. You have worked in or with a sales organization and can manage the growth of a sales team.

The VP, Sales & Marketing is a senior management role who will be responsible for driving revenue. The Itemize products are well baked and innovative – and they now need a strong team leader to bring them to market through digital acquisitions, the halo effect of an excellent brand an inside sales force.


  • Leading all aspects of the company’s marketing initiatives, including Brand, Acquisition (Organic and Paid), CRM, Retention, Content, Social, Insights/Analytics, Partnerships
  • Creating a brand strategy plan, ensuring all aspects of company activities align with the goals
  • Allocating the necessary marketing resources and building a team to support the brand plan
  • Executing the plan, including, ongoing content production for multiple channels including social media


  • Motivating current sales team through KPIs
  • Supporting sales efforts with marketing and brand material
  • Building sales team
